Pine Trail Run - Pine, AZ
Pine Trail Run is a trail race in Pine, Arizona that raises funds for Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction (PSFR) to support forest health, new sustainable trails, trail maintenance, and wildfire-prevention education through a Firewise Garden and Fire Interpretive Trail.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 50K
- 10 Miler
- 6K
Courses run along the Mogollon Rim at about 6,000 ft elevation, mostly on trails built and maintained by the PSFR trail crew and the Arizona Trail Association in the Tonto National Forest. All participants park at the Red Barn (3180 Old County Road) and are bused to the start; all races finish at the Red Barn. Porta-potties will be available at the Red Barn.
Logistics include packet pickup on Friday evening and Saturday morning at the Red Barn. Camping is available in the arena near the barn for the race weekend with 15 spaces on a first-come, first-served basis for a minimal fee. The 6K and 10-mile entrants receive a complimentary breakfast; additional breakfasts and dinners may be purchased during online registration ($11 breakfast, $13 dinner). Registrants who register online by May 1, 2027 are guaranteed a commemorative tech t-shirt or running cap. Minimum ages apply: 6K : 6 years, 10-mile : 10 years, 50K : 12 years. The event is held rain or shine; there are no credits or refunds for cancellations.
