The Pine Street School 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Spartanburg, SC. This is the 14th annual running of the event. It is a fundraiser for Pine Street Elementary School and supports PTO programs such as specialized grade-level studies, Artist in Residence Week, and Accelerated Reader programming. The race fee is $25.
Course and logistics
The 5K course runs through the Converse Heights neighborhood and is USATF certified (SC18009DW). The event base is Pine Street School, located at 500 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Registration opens December 31, 2025. Registration includes a short-sleeve t-shirt for entries completed by March 1, 2026; later registrants are not guaranteed a shirt and select sizes may be available on race day. Packet pick-up is available only on the morning of the race at the Pine Street entrance. There will be a brief awards ceremony after the race for overall and age group winners. Pine Street students will run a fun run during regular PE classes; students who register for the 5K must be accompanied by an adult on the race course.
