Pine Street School 5K - USATF Certified
The 13th Annual Pine Street School 5K takes place on March 21, 2026 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with the school site at 500 S Pine Street. The event is a fundraiser for Pine Street Elementary School; proceeds supplement the PTO budget to support student enrichment programs such as specialized grade level studies, Artist in Residence Week, and Accelerated Reader programming.
The 5K course runs through Spartanburg's historic Converse Heights neighborhood and is USATF certified (SC18009DW). Registration includes a short sleeve t-shirt for entries received by March 3, 2026. Select sizes may be available on race day for later registrants, but late registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet pick up is available the morning of the race only at the Pine Street entrance. A brief awards ceremony will follow the race to recognize overall and age group winners.
All Pine Street students will run a fun run during regular physical education classes. Students who register to run or walk the 5K must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the race course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
