Pima Turkey Trot 5K : 21st Annual
The Pima Turkey Trot is a community road race held on Thanksgiving Day in Pima, Arizona at the Pima Vard Lines Roping Arena. Early packet pickup is held the day before at the Pima Elementary Cafeteria. On race day there is packet pickup and race day registration at the arena; there will not be packet pickup after the race. Participants are asked not to bring dogs to the event.
The program includes two timed and untimed running options:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K (3.1 mile) Run/Walk
Entry fees vary by date: $15 if paid by Tuesday, November 17, and $20 from November 18 through race day. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in nine age categories: 0-8, 9-13, 14-18, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, and 66 and up. A $50 cash prize is listed for the overall male and female winners. There are raffle prizes for participants, and a turkey award for the family with the most registered participants.
