Gila Hank's Sprint Triathlon
Gila Hank's Sprint Triathlon takes place at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona. The event is a multi-sport competition that combines swimming, cycling, and running. Participants can enter the race as individual athletes or as part of a relay team.
The event includes the following distances:
- 75-yard swim
- 6-mile bike
- 1.5-mile run
The competition uses electronic chip timing provided by 4 Peaks Racing. Athletes receive a timing chip and a neoprene strap to be worn on the left ankle throughout the duration of the race. These chips are collected at the finish line once the participant completes the course. The college campus serves as the central venue for the transition areas and race segments.
