Event details

The Pillsbury Push takes place on July 25, 2026, at Pillsbury Park, 301 6th St, Kerkhoven, MN 56252. The event includes two race distances:

5K
10K

Registration opens February 14, 2026. Pre-registration closes July 10, 2026, and registrants are guaranteed a shirt if registered by that date. A T-shirt is optional for an extra $5.00.

Course and logistics

The 5K course runs on flat, paved roads in Kerkhoven. The 10K course is mostly paved, with about 1.5 miles of mowed grass on the golf course and a short gravel section. Water stops are provided approximately every couple of miles. Only the 10K race is part of the Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series.

Awards and community

Awards are given in male and female age divisions, from 10 and under through 85 plus. Proceeds from the race go to the Kerkhoven Park and Recreation Department. After the races, Town and Country Days activities include children’s games, a children’s tractor pull, a flea market, a firemen’s feed, kiddie rides, swimming, and a parade.
