Pikes Peak Road Runners Fall Series
The Fall Series is a set of four trail races held in different city and county parks around Colorado Springs. The events use a mix of wide open fields, regional trails, single-track sections, rocky terrain, and root-lined paths; one course notes rocky, hilly sections where snakes may be present. Each race increases in distance as the series progresses.
- 3.8 miles at Bear Creek Terrace, includes soccer-field sprints and short climbs
- 4.0 miles at North Monument Valley Park, starts and finishes on a grass field
- 5.5 miles at Piñon Valley Park and Ute Valley Park, includes rocky single-track sections
- 7.4 miles at Palmer Park, features rocky trails and uneven footing
Entrants must be 15 years old or older. No animals, baby joggers or strollers, earbuds or headphones, bikes, or trikes are permitted; violations result in disqualification. The series is chip timed; all scoring uses chip time.
Registration is online only, and closes at 5:00 pm the day before each race; there is no race day registration. Entry fees include processing and are listed separately for members and non-members. A commemorative unisex shirt is available for an additional fee. First responder and military participants may request a discount with identification; a membership discount is applied during checkout when applicable.
Awards require completing all four races. Overall and age-group awards are given based on chip time; overall winners are not eligible for age-group awards and there are no cash awards. An awards dinner for participants follows the series and is held in Colorado Springs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
