Overview
The Hopwood Trot is a running event scheduled for Wednesday 5th August 2026. It is organized by Middleton Harriers.
Course
The course is multi-terrain, covering approximately five and a half miles (8.8 km). It runs on paths, tracks, and country lanes surrounding historic Hopwood Hall on the outskirts of Middleton in Greater Manchester. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Location and Logistics
The event is based at the Hopwood Collage Sports Pavillion on Rochdale Road, M24 6XH. Registration and number collection take place in the Sports Hall of the College.
Entry Information
Entries are open from Tuesday 30th December 2025 and close on Monday 3rd August 2026. The entry fee is £12.00 for UKA members and £14.00 for non-members. Participants must be 16 years or older. There is an entry limit of 200 participants.
Awards
Prizes are awarded for the first three male and female finishers. Additional prizes are given for the first in each age category and for male and female teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
