Pierogi Stumble 5K
Calumet College stages the annual Pierogi Stumble 5K on July 23, 2026, at 2400 New York Avenue in Whiting, Indiana. The event features a 3.1 Miles run/walk on a scenic route that starts at the college, follows the bike path between Lost Marsh Golf Course and George Lake toward Calumet Avenue, crosses the Calumet Avenue overpass, passes a pavilion, runs alongside Wolf Lake, and returns to the campus finish area at CCSJ.
Registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes July 23, 2026. The entry fee is a $50 flat rate and includes a T-shirt, sample pierogis, and adult beverages. A T-shirt is guaranteed for participants registered before July 1, 2026. Race day packet pick-up begins at 5:00 PM at The Rittenmeyer Center, 2400 New York Avenue, Whiting, IN. Parking will be available at CCSJ.
Post-race activities include awards, pierogi sampling, adult beverages, and music in front of the Dennis Rittenmeyer Athletic Center. Computerized timing is provided by T&H Timing. The race falls on the eve of Pierogi Fest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
