Event Overview
The Pie Day Pi K is a 3.14 km (1.95 mile) race held at C.M. Herndon Park in Durham, North Carolina. It celebrates Pi Day (March 14th) with a run and freshly-baked personal pies for participants.

Event Details
The race is a mass-start event. Participants each receive a freshly-baked crostada (personal pie) from a Durham pastry chef, with a choice of apple or chocolate sea salt flavors.
Registration pricing is tiered: $27 through December 31, $30 from January 1 to February 29, and $35 from March 1-17. An optional long-sleeved "Equations" race shirt is available for $19, with a March 1 deadline for a guaranteed shirt.
Packet pickup is available on Saturday at Fleet Feet in Durham and on race day from 8-9 AM.
Awards & Series
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top two male and female finishers in nine age groups from 15 & Under to 80+. The event is part of the Triangle Race Series.
Timing & Results
Race timing is provided by Precision Race, using a disposable timing chip on the back of the race bib. Results are available via text message, live online, and through a mobile app. Finish line photos are also provided.
Virtual Option
A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person. Virtual participants have until the end of March to complete the distance and submit their time using a mobile app or by manual entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
