Pictured Rocks Road Race 2026
The 51st Annual Pictured Rocks Road Race takes place on June 28, 2026 in Munising, Michigan. The event includes two distance options and starts and finishes at Bayshore Park on the southern shore of Lake Superior.
- Half Marathon - includes roughly 3 miles of dirt and two 300 foot climbs.
- 10K Run/Walk - shares the first climb along the dirt road section.
Both courses use a mix of paved roads and rustic two track trails. The half marathon contains two notable climbs of about 300 feet each. The 10K follows the initial climb on the dirt road before continuing along mixed terrain.
All participants receive a long sleeve shirt, and all finishers receive a medal. The 10K Run and 10K Walk are combined into a single event for 2026. Registration details note an Early Early Bird pricing window from December 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, with normal early bird pricing continuing through April 30. Group discounts apply through May 31, with $5 off per participant for groups of 3 to 10 and $10 off per participant for groups of 11 or more.
