Pictured Rocks Road Race 2027
The 52nd annual Pictured Rocks Road Race takes place on June 27, 2027, in Munising, Michigan, near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The event starts and finishes at Bayshore Park on the southern shore of Lake Superior.
Race options include:
- 13.6 miles Half Marathon
- 10K run/walk
The courses use a mix of paved roads and two-track trails. The half marathon includes roughly 3 miles of dirt and two 300-foot climbs. The 10K shares the first climb along the dirt road section.
Entry fees listed for early registration are $50 for the half marathon and $40 for the 10K. An Early Bird pricing window runs from July 2, 2026 through January 31, 2027. Registration fees will increase each month beginning February 1. Group discounts apply through June 23: $5 off per participant for groups of 3 to 9, and $10 off per participant for groups of 10 or more.
All participants receive a long sleeve shirt and all finishers receive a medal. Registrations received after June 1 will not include a t-shirt size selection; registrants will instead be able to choose race socks in sizes SM/MED or LG/XL.
