Pictured Rocks Road Race 2026
The Pictured Rocks Road Race takes place June 28, 2026 in Munising, Michigan, with the venue at Bayshore Park on the southern shore of Lake Superior.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
Both events combine paved roads and rustic two track trails. The half marathon includes roughly 3 miles of unpaved surface and features two 300 foot climbs. The 10K shares the first climb on the dirt road section. The course runs through town and nearby natural areas along the lakeshore.
All participants receive a long sleeve shirt and all finishers earn a medal. The event introduces an Early Early Bird pricing window from December 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026; normal early bird pricing continues through April 30. Group discounts are available through May 31: five dollars off per participant for groups of 3 to 10, and ten dollars off per participant for groups of 11 or more. Registration fees increase each month after March 31. Registrations received after June 1 will not include a shirt size selection; registrants may choose race socks in place of the shirt.
