Picture Me In A Tree 5 km, 10 km and 6 Hour Trail Run or Walk
The event takes place at 1042 Sherman Belcher Rd, Centreville, Nova Scotia. It is a fundraiser for Centreville Community Park; net proceeds go toward park maintenance, repairs and new projects. Participation is limited to the first 125 registrants with allocation limits for each event. Minimum ages are 12 for the 5 km and 10 km events and 16 for the 6 hour event.

The course is about 80 percent shaded and consists of roughly 70 percent packed dust gravel, 15 percent gravel track and 15 percent natural trail or groomed grass field. Each loop is 2.5 km with markers every 500 meters and approximately 11 meters of elevation gain per loop, indicating a flat profile. Walkers should keep to the right and runners should pass on the left to reduce congestion.
Race kits include a race bib, four safety pins and numbered lap sticks for 5 km and 10 km participants. Lap counting will be done manually, with 5 km participants receiving two sticks and 10 km participants four sticks. 6 hour laps are recorded manually at a dedicated chute. An aid station near the start and finish provides water and electrolyte drink in coolers on tap; participants must bring a bottle or cup. Indoor washrooms with two private stalls are available at the start and finish area. Dogs and bicycles are not permitted on the course during the event. All finishers receive a custom finisher medallion with name and event on the back. Prize draws and awards are part of the event, and a photo opportunity at a hollow tree stump on the course will have images posted on the event Facebook page.
