Picture Me In A Tree - September 12, 2026
Picture Me In A Tree is a trail event held in Centreville, Nova Scotia at 1042 Sherman Belcher Rd on September 12, 2026. The event is a fundraiser for the Centreville Community Park; net proceeds support park maintenance, repairs and new projects.

The field is limited to the first 125 registrants. Minimum ages are 12 for the 5 km and 10 km events and 16 for the 6 hour event. The course is about 80 percent shaded trail with roughly 70 percent fine gravel, 15 percent gravel track and 15 percent natural trail or groomed grass. Each 500 metre section of the loop is marked. Each 2.5 km loop has approximately 11 metres of elevation change, indicating a low overall change in altitude. Walkers are asked to stay right and runners to pass on the left to reduce congestion.
Race kits include a bib, safety pins and numbered lap sticks for lap recording. Lap counting will be done manually, with 5 km participants receiving two sticks and 10 km participants four sticks; 6 hour laps are recorded manually at a chute. An aid station near the start/finish provides water and Gatorade; the event is cupless so participants should bring a bottle or cup to refill. Indoor washrooms with two private stalls and a first aid station are available at the start/finish area. Parking is available at a main lot and an alternate lot about 300 metres from the start/finish. Dogs and bicycles are not permitted on the course during the event; visiting dogs must be on leash. Finishers receive a custom medallion and overall top male, female and non-binary finishers in each running event receive additional awards. Multiple draw prizes will be offered during the day and winners must be present to collect. If the organizer cancels the event on the scheduled date, it will be rescheduled for the following weekend; individual cancellations notified by August 12 qualify for a 50 percent refund excluding transaction fees.
