Memorial 5k in Osage Beach
This is the third annual memorial run and walk held in Osage Beach to honor a fallen Osage Beach Police Department officer. The event takes place at 1000 City Pkwy and includes two separate events: an adult 5k Walk/Run and a kids only 5k Walk/Run.
Advance registration for participants aged 18 and over is listed at $25; day of entry is listed at $30 and includes a shirt. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by October 1, 2026. Children 17 and under may participate in the kids only 5k at no registration fee; children may purchase a t shirt for $20. Additional shirts are available for purchase at the event for $20. Registration opens May 7, 2026 and closes November 6, 2026.
Proceeds and donations will support The Pregnancy Help Center and Missouri COPS. The event page notes that donations can also be made at the event by cash or check.
The course begins at the Osage Beach Police Department, follows OB Parkway to Palisades Boulevard, continues to a turnaround at the road end, and returns to the police department. The day of the event includes registration and check in, announcements and remarks by family and local police, the national anthem, and a prayer before the run and walk begin.
