Cambridgeshire - Halloween Run 2027
The Cambridgeshire Halloween Run returns after its inaugural evening event in 2026 and will take place at Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough. The event uses an evening, looped format with added Halloween decorations and on-course surprises.
This is a timed lap event based on a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) loop. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within a six hour time limit. The minimum distance is 3.28 miles. All finishers receive a bespoke finishers' medal.
Lighting is compulsory because the course will be run in the dark; head torches or chest lights are required for participation. The surface is a mix of footpaths and grass and the course has minimal elevation gain and loss, making it relatively flat.
The event operates a flexible rock up and run start within a one hour start window. Entry fees are listed as £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unaffiliated runners. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. Both attended and virtual participation options are offered and all participants, attended or virtual, receive a giveaway medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
