Cambridgeshire - Little Miss and Mister Runner
Phoenix Running Cambridgeshire holds this event at Thorpe Meadows in Peterborough. The course is a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) loop that passes several sculptures around a rowing lake, runs alongside the River Nene, and finishes through a wooded trail. Surfaces include tarmac paths, grass and woodland trail.
This is a timed multi-lap event on a loop course. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within a six hour time limit. The minimum distance is one lap, 3.28 miles. The overall lap has approximately 8 meters of elevation and is primarily flat with one fairly short but steep incline at about 3.7 km into the loop. The organiser operates a flexible "rock up and run" start within a one hour window.
