Phoenix Running - Kent - Duckython - Pluck a Ducky
Phoenix Running stages a themed timed event at Gravesend Cyclopark in Kent on Saturday 12 September 2026. The event combines lap-based running with a novelty "pluck a duck" element: the first 100 entries may draw a bespoke rubber duck from a bag, and one golden duck in the bag awards a free future race entry. Every participant receives a 130 mm spinning Run Ducky Run finisher medal.
The format uses a looped course of 5.3 km (3.28 miles) that mixes smooth tarmac and off-road trails. Runners choose how many laps to complete within a seven hour limit; the minimum recorded distance is one loop. Organisers coordinate timing so a local parkrun can be included as a first lap if registered with the event.
