Phoenix: Gloucestershire - Choose your own 2
This event is held at Brimscombe Port on the Stroud Waterways canal. It uses a 2.62 mile out and back loop along canal towpath and nearby trail. The surface is canal gravel towpath and trail, and road or trail shoes are suitable. The course has very little elevation change.
Participants may choose how many laps to complete, from a single lap up to longer distances within a maximum time limit of seven hours. There is a medal option and a no medal option; finishers receive a bespoke finishers' medal for completed efforts.
The organiser operates flexible rock up and run starts within a one hour start window to accommodate different arrival times. UK Athletics age rules apply, so distance restrictions affect participants aged 20 or under.
Entry fees are listed as £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unaffiliated runners. Places are limited and the event is timed.
