Centaur 100 Mile Ultra
The Phoenix Centaur 100 Mile Ultra takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. The main event is a 100 mile ultra held as part of a larger festival of running with several events running concurrently.
The route is a single 1 mile loop on off-road trails within the wine estate. The loop is described as flat-ish with slight inclines and cambers. Participants are allowed up to 30 hours to complete the 100 mile distance. The event is fully chip timed and records laps and exact distance.
Multiple distances and event formats are staged at the same time, which brings runners together on the same course. Distances include:
- 100 mile Centaur Ultra
- 75 mile option
- 50 mile option
- 12-hour and 24-hour events
- Marathon and half marathon variations
A well stocked aid station supports participants on the loop. Centaur finishers receive a medal and buckle for completing 100 miles. Places are strictly limited. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. All attended and virtual participants receive a giveaway medal or memento.
