Event overview
The Gold Coast Triathlon takes place over two days on 11 and 12 April 2026 at Fisherman's Lawn, Southport, in the Broadwater Parklands. Race formats and distances
The Saturday youth program is a free, participation-based, non-competitive event for children. Options include Bike/Run, Swim/Run and Fun Run. Each child receives a t-shirt, a swimming cap and a finishers medal.
The Sunday program includes a sprint-distance triathlon run as a memorial event. That sprint event is confirmed as the AusTriathlon National Sprint Distance Championships. The weekend also includes two road running events that start and finish on the lawn in the Broadwater Parklands.
