Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon
The Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon takes place over two days on 10 and 11 April 2027 at Mitchell Park in Southport and the Broadwater Parklands. The weekend combines community and competition with a free participation event for children on Saturday and multi-distance racing on Sunday.
Saturday features the Pho3nix Kids Gold Coast Triathlon, a free, participation-based program with Bike/Run, Swim/Run and Fun Run options. All child participants receive a t-shirt, swim cap and a finishers medal.
Sunday includes the main triathlon program and a sprint-distance event that hosts the AusTriathlon National Sprint Distance Championships. The Sunday schedule also features the Sunrise Running Event with the Gold Coast 10 and Gold Coast 5. Both runs start and finish on the lawn at the Broadwater Parklands and use an early-autumn course described as fast and flat along the highway.
