Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon

The Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon takes place over two days on 10 and 11 April 2027 at Mitchell Park in Southport and around the Broadwater Parklands. The event program combines multi sport races and community running events across the weekend.

On Saturday a free kids triathlon offers participation based formats to introduce children to multisport activity. Options include Bike/Run, Swim/Run and a Fun Run. All child participants receive a t shirt, swim cap and a finishers medal.

Sunday features the main triathlon program, held as a memorial event that is part of the national triathlon calendar. The Sprint Distance triathlon hosts the AusTriathlon National Sprint Distance Championships and attracts competitors from across Australia.

A Sunrise Running Event runs alongside the triathlon program with the Gold Coast 10 and Gold Coast 5. Both distances start and finish on the lawn at the Broadwater Parklands and use an out and back highway course described as fast and flat in the cooler early Autumn conditions.
