Event overview
The Women's Philadelphia Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA 19131. This is the 9th annual running of the event. Swimming takes place in Historic Kelly Pool; it is not held in the Schuylkill River. The bike course runs on Martin Luther King Drive along the river and is closed to vehicular traffic. Running occurs around the Please Touch Museum and the Horticultural Center in West Fairmount Park. The event is part of the USA Triathlon Women's Series. Relay options are available so teams can divide swim, bike, and run legs. The race director reserves the right to alter the course. Organizers state that safety is a priority and that real timed results and live athlete tracking via the DelMo Elite Events app are provided.
Distances and format
Saturday events:
- Kids Philadelphia Triathlon: 50 m swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run
Sunday events:
- Sprint Triathlon: 300 m pool swim, 9 mile bike, 5K run
- Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 9 mile bike, 5K run
- Sprint Aquabike: 300 m pool swim, 9 mile bike
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 50 m pool swim, 4 mile bike, 2 mile run
