PG Northern Triathlon
The PG Northern Triathlon takes place in Prince George on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event is open to all ages and focuses on introducing athletes to a new sport and a new challenge. It is also presented as a way for experienced triathletes to prepare for the upcoming season.
The course layout provides opportunities for parents and spectators to view athletes throughout the competition. The event aligns with standards set by Triathlon BC for the growth and development of younger athletes. The Northern Triathlon Club will offer drafting clinics in the lead up to the race. A draft legal racing option is offered for the 12-13 and 14-15 age groups, noted as a learning opportunity in preparation for the 2026 BC Summer Games.
Registration information covers categories, age groups, and fees. All participants must hold a Triathlon BC membership or purchase a day license. All participants will receive a finisher medal. Every finisher 9 years old and under will receive a finisher medal and a fun prize after completing their event. Top three male and female competitors in each age category aged 10 and over, and in each race, will receive a medal. Age is determined as of December 31, 2026.
