Mother's Day 5k - Prince George Road Runners
This race, formerly known as The Gathering, coincides with Mother's Day. It takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park in Prince George.
The event features a single distance: a 5 km road race. The route is described as easy and consists of two loops around the park. The start and finish are at the bandshell. The surface is asphalt/concrete and has minimal elevation gain.
Registration is free for Prince George Road Runners members. For non-members, early and day-of registration fees apply. A free kids' race is included.
The registration fees and donations from this event are donated to the Wheelin’ Warriors of the North fundraising effort for the BC Cancer Foundation. The event is partnered with the Cops for Cancer cycling team.
