Mother's Day 5k - Prince George
Formerly known as The Gathering, this 5 km race has always coincided with Mother's Day. It is a point-to-point road race held at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. The event starts and finishes at the bandshell. The route involves two loops around the park on its roads.
Members of the Prince George Road Runners (PGRR) participate for free but must register. Early registration costs 15$ and day-of registration costs 20$. A free kids race is included.
Registration fees and donations from this event are donated to the Wheelin’ Warriors of the North fundraising effort for the BC Cancer Foundation. The event is partnered with the Cops for Cancer cycling team.
