Route

The Heights Fiver is a road race through the College Heights neighbourhood. Runners can choose between two distances: 5 kilometres and 5 miles (8 kilometres). The route is described as easy, with an elevation gain of 14 metres. The surface is asphalt and concrete (road/sidewalk).

Registration and Fees

Race registration and bib pick-up take place at the Kool Cats Kid Care daycare facility located at 6989 Gladstone Drive. Fees payable in cash on event day are:

Early registration: $15 for 5 km, $20 for 10 km.
Day-of registration: $20 for 5 km, $25 for 10 km.
Prince George Road Runners (PGRR) members participate for free but must register.

Event Information

This event officially launches the PGRR race season. A free kids' race is included. Participants are advised to allow extra time to warm up or register as it can be busy. With it being an early-season event, runners should watch for road conditions such as slippery spots and potholes. Dogs and headphones are not permitted due to liability and safety concerns.
