Event overview
PFW Running presents a timed running event on Sunday, 15 November 2026 at Stanley Park, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY3 9EQ. The event is a 6 hour timed challenge with a maximum of 100 entrants. The race will be held under UKA rules and a Trail Running Association race permit number is to be announced. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £23.50 and Unattached £25.50. Entries close on 15/11/2026 and the minimum age to enter is 18 years.
Course, distances and finishers
The course is a 3.1 mile loop mostly on tarmac with a short section on gravel. Runners may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within the 6 hour time limit. Distances described by the organiser include:
- 3.1 mile loop
- Half marathon: 4 laps plus a short out-and-back
- Marathon: 8 laps plus a short out-and-back
- Ultra: 9 or more laps
Completing at least one lap qualifies a runner as a finisher who will receive an official time and a post-race gift. All finishers will also receive a medal. For long-distance restrictions, ages 18-19 may race up to the marathon distance; entrants over 20 have no maximum distance.
Logistics and conditions
The organiser will provide drinks and sweet and savoury snacks on course. Refunds are not permitted. Entrants may transfer or defer their entry up to one week before the event by contacting the organiser. Transfers to another runner are allowed up to one week prior.
