PFW Running - World Diabetes Day Run
The PFW Running - World Diabetes Day Run is a charitable event held at Stanley Park, Blackpool, to raise awareness and funds for Type 1 diabetes research. Participants can complete a 3.1-mile loop course within a 6-hour time limit, with options for half marathon, marathon, and ultra distances. All profits from the event will be donated to Breakthrough T1D, a charity dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
Finishers will receive a medal and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. The run coincides with World Diabetes Day, honoring the birthday of insulin co-discoverer Frederick Banting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
