PFW Running - Brockholes Bimble
PFW Running - Brockholes Bimble takes place at Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston on Friday 7 May 2027. The reserve is owned by the Wildlife Trust, covers 250 acres and includes a floating visitor centre. The route uses paths around the reserve and passes several lakes, the River Ribble and areas of woodland.
Distances on offer:
- 10k one lap plus a short out and back
- Half marathon three laps of the course
- Marathon six laps of the course
- Ultra as many laps as wished within a six hour limit
Facilities and event services include sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke, a bespoke medal and post run goodies. The route will be fully marked and medical cover will be provided. The event is held under UKA rules and a Trail Running Association permit number will be announced.
Entry is limited to 100 participants and all entrants must be over 18. Runners aged 18 to 19 may enter up to a marathon distance; runners aged 20 and over may enter longer distances. Refunds are not permitted; transfers and deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
