The Brockholes Bimble is scheduled for Friday 8 May 2026 and is held at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston New Road, Samlesbury, Preston PR5 0AG. Distances offered:

- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Entry fees are: 10K £22 affiliated / £24 unattached; Half £26 affiliated / £28 unattached; Marathon £30 affiliated / £32 unattached; Ultra £36 affiliated / £38 unattached. £2 from every entry will be donated to Brockholes Nature Reserve for path upkeep. The event has a maximum of 100 entrants and entries close on 01/05/2026. All participants must be over 18; 18-19 year olds may enter up to the marathon distance, while over-20s have no maximum distance. There is a 6 hour time limit; the last lap must be started within 5 hours 15 minutes.
Course and on-site provisions
The course uses the paths around the reserve and passes several lakes, the River Ribble and woodlands. The 10K is one lap plus a short out-and-back; the half marathon is three laps; the marathon is six laps; the ultra is as many laps as a runner can complete within the 6 hour limit. Organisers provide sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-run goodies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
