PFW Running - Avenham Amble
PFW Running - Avenham Amble takes place on Sunday 9 May 2027 and uses parkland paths in central Preston. The start and finish are at Avenham Park Cafe beside the River Ribble. The route passes through Miller Park and crosses the river into Upper Farm nature reserve and leisure park before returning to Avenham Park. The course is on hard surface paths and is fully marked.

The 10K consists of one loop plus a short out and back. The half marathon is three loops of the course and the marathon is six loops. The ultra is run as many laps as a participant wishes within a six hour limit; the last lap must be started within 5 hours 15 minutes. The event provides sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke, a bespoke medal and post run goodies. Medical cover is provided and the event is held under UKA rules. A Trail Running Association race permit number will be confirmed.
All participants must be over 18. Participants aged 18 to 19 may enter up to the marathon distance. There is a maximum of 100 entrants and entries close on 07 May 2027. Refunds are not permitted; transfers or deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
