Petzl Night Trails 10k Coombe Abbey (March)
This is a trail 10K held at Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry. The route uses an adapted winter course that runs through woodland, meadow and grass fields and includes exposed tree roots, uneven surfaces and a few gates. The route is described as undulating but not hilly; surface conditions may vary with recent weather and can be muddy or firm.
A head or chest torch is required to take part; participants without a torch will not be permitted to run. Petzl are expected to bring demo kit so runners can try lamps on the night, with final details to be confirmed nearer the event.
Facilities at the venue include a toilet block next to the event HQ and paid parking on site costing up to £3 for 1–2 hours. Coombe Abbey Park is on the outskirts of Coventry and is approximately six minutes from Junction 2 of the M6; the closest train station is Coventry.
The event provides biodegradable cups with water or electrolyte on course; runners may bring a foldable cup but this is not required. There is an effective two hour cut-off related to medical cover. Entry fees are tiered: before 09/02/2027 £16, after 09/02/2027 £21; unaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra. A tree token option is available instead of a medal through the organiser's Earth Runs partnership. The organiser also offers an option to donate to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity during sign up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
