Petzl Night Trails 10K : Coombe Abbey (March)

The event is a night-time trail 10 km held at Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry on 9 March 2027. Running takes place on an adapted winter route used between October and April, with the course passing through woodland, meadow and grass fields. Surfaces can include exposed tree roots, uneven ground and a few gates.

A head or chest torch is required for all runners; no torch means no entry on the night. Petzl are expected to attend with demo lamps so attendees can try head torches, though their presence will be confirmed closer to the event.

Facilities at the venue include a toilet block next to the event HQ and on-site parking that costs up to £3 for 1 to 2 hours. Coombe Abbey Park sits on the outskirts of Coventry and is around six minutes from Junction 2 of the M6; the nearest train station is Coventry.

This is a trail 10k rather than a road race, so recorded distances may vary slightly between devices. The event operates a tiered entry fee: entries before 09/02/2027 cost £16 and after that date cost £21; unaffiliated entrants pay an additional £2. There is an effective time cut-off of two hours, in line with medical cover and daylight considerations. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
