Petzl Night Trails - Salcey Forest

The Petzl Night Trails 10K at Salcey Forest is a unique night trail running event held near Northampton. Participants run a fully marked, two-lap 10K course on crushed stone paths through the flat but occasionally slippery forest terrain. Running in the dark requires a head or chest torch, with Petzl providing top-quality head torches for testing.

The event welcomes canicross runners, who start 10 minutes before the main race. Parking is available for a small fee, with encouragement to car share. The event supports Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and offers eco-friendly tree tokens instead of medals.
