Petzl Night Trails - Salcey Forest

The Petzl Night Trails 10K at Salcey Forest is a unique night-time trail running event held near Northampton. Participants run a fully marked, two-lap 10k course on crushed stone paths through the flat forest terrain, illuminated only by their head torches—Petzl, the event’s sponsor, provides top-quality lighting gear for testing. The event welcomes canicross runners, who start 10 minutes ahead of the main field.

Parking is available for a small fee, with encouragement to car share. The race offers water stations with biodegradable cups and hot drinks, plus eco-friendly tree tokens instead of medals.
