Event Overview
The Peticolas Running Club Social Run/Walk - OctoBEER is a themed running event celebrating the Texas vs. Oklahoma college football rivalry. Participants can run or walk a route of approximately three miles on a trail near Peticolas Brewing Company in Dallas.
What's Included
Registration includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass featuring either a Longhorn or Sooner design, three Peticolas beers, and breakfast tacos from That Taco Dude. Participants can enjoy their three beers as drafts in the taproom, take cans to go, or any combination.
Event Details & Logistics
The event uses a rolling start format. Check-in takes place on the day. Participants can begin their run or walk at any time during this window or join an organized group start. There will be mile markers along the trail. Bottled water is provided at the start to take on the course, though there are no water stations on the route itself.
A raffle is held later in the morning. The event takes place rain or shine. If weather is bad, the food and drinks are served indoors at the brewery. Registration is priced at $35 and is conducted online. The event has a no-refund policy. Kids in strollers are welcome and free. Dogs are not permitted.
