Snakes N Ladders : Perth Trail Series
Snakes N Ladders is a trail running event held in Serpentine National Park as part of the Perth Trail Series winter program on Sunday 21 June 2026. The event uses marked remote trails, including sections on the Kitty Gorge trail and areas with waterfalls. A village at the start and finish features drummers, food trucks and barbecue facilities for spectators.
Distances offered:
- 5.8 km (+/- 108 m)
- 11.8 km (+/- 165 m)
- 21.3 km (+/- 850 m)
Course support and logistics include course markings and an event brief emailed the Wednesday before the event. Bib pickup is on race day at the start/finish. Registration remains open until the Tuesday prior to the event unless entries sell out earlier. Participants may drop down in distance on the day by notifying event staff.
Minimum age and experience requirements for children: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- Green Course: minimum age 6. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire course.
- Blue Course: minimum age 12. A child must have completed three Green Course events and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the first time on the Blue Course.
- Black Course: minimum age 16. A child must have completed three Blue Course events and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the first time on the Black Course.
