Event Overview

This is the Penfield Education Foundation (PEF) 5K, a community event taking place on April 19, 2026. It will start and end at the Penfield High School track. The event is a fundraiser for the Penfield Education Foundation, which supports grants for school programs and scholarships for students in the Penfield Central School District.

Distances & Registration

The event features a single 5K distance. Registration is open online with two categories:

PEF 5K online registration
PEF 5K STUDENT online registration for participants aged 18 and under

Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the race, on Saturday, April 18. Registrants who sign up by April 4 will receive a short-sleeved technical t-shirt.

Other Activities

After the 5K, there will be free races for children. Kids aged 12 and under can participate in a five-minute run/walk on the track, where they complete as many laps as possible within the time limit.
