BLACK SHEEP WINTER
BLACK SHEEP WINTER is a 60 km loop event on Saturday 13 November 2027 that follows parts of the Mariner’s Trail around the Llŷn Peninsula. The route starts and finishes at Tafarn Y Fic, Llithfaen, and traverses rugged coastal terrain through the heart of Pen Llyn.
The event is scheduled as an individual full distance option and as a relay option for teams of four. Short daylight hours and unpredictable November weather are noted features of the time of year for this event. Entry includes event support, checkpoints, refreshments and a Black Sheep finisher medal for individual finishers and for each member of relay teams.
Entry fees listed are £85 for the individual full distance and £105 per team of four for the relay entry. The event is part of the Black Sheep Triple Crown medal qualifying series. It is also listed as an ITRA points qualifying event, with points subject to route evaluation and confirmation.
