Pelican Run 5k
Pelican Run 5k is a community walk/run held on 05/01/2027 at Haulover Park on Miami Beach. The course is a certified 3.1 miles route and the event supports wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education programs through its proceeds.
Registration opens 08/17/2026 and closes 03/14/2027. Pricing is tiered: $35 early bird, $40 general, and $50 day-of registration. Parking is available near the registration area; parking fees are paid via the PaybyPhone app (location #46265). Race packets are available for pickup at the race site.
Awards are given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers (male and female). Age-group prizes are awarded in the following categories for male and female: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. All finishers receive a participation medal.
Due to the nature of the course, pets are not allowed. Requests for materials in accessible formats, information on access for persons with disabilities, or a sign language interpreter require seven days' notice and should be directed to the event organizer.
