Event overview
The Pelican Run 5k is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Miami Beach, FL. This is the fourth annual running of the event. The course is a 3.1-mile (5 km) walk/run held at Haulover Park near Haulover Marina. Proceeds will directly benefit wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education programs.
Location and logistics
The event location is 10800 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33154. Race packets may be picked up at Haulover Marina on the day of the event beginning at 6:00 AM. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the registration area; parking is not included in the registration fee and must be paid through the PaybyPhone app (Location #46265). Due to the nature of the course, pets are not allowed.
Registration and awards
Listed registration prices are: Early Bird $35, General $40, Day-of $50. The event page shows 497 spots remaining and a price increase after March 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. All finishers receive a participation medal. Overall awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female. Age-group prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are offered in these groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
