The 31st Annual Peeper 5K Walk/Run
The event is a community 5K held on May 2, 2026, at Barrington Elementary School, 570 Calef Highway, Barrington, New Hampshire. The Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce organizes the event and TURBOCAM is listed as the Gold Sponsor.
The course is the same 3.1-mile route used in prior years and runs through a country setting. The race is no longer sanctioned by USATF; the route has been certified in the past and the same course will be used.
Registration is offered in multiple categories, including adult, military (active or retired), and child (ages 10–17), with early-bird pricing available through March 31 and separate current pricing thereafter. T-shirts and event hats will be ordered only for participants who request them; the last day to order apparel is April 15.
Onsite amenities described include an R&R table with complimentary fruit, water, and healthy snacks, additional food sold by vendors, bathroom access at the elementary school, and parking at the school. Leftover food will be donated to End 68 Hours of Hunger. Prizes are planned, including a special prize for the participant judged the best "Peeper" for costume or spirit.
Policies note that entries are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and the event may be cancelled for severe weather or safety concerns; no refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available, and a portion of proceeds supports the Chamber scholarship fund, which provides $3,000 in scholarships.
