About the race
PEDALS is a multi-event fundraiser in Cannonsburg, Michigan (8260 6 Mile Rd) that raises money for people living with ALS. The event includes a range of cycling, running, walking and virtual options, and offers on-site activities and a post-event celebration with food, drinks, music and children’s activities.
Rides are organized as timed events but are designated as rides rather than races. The 5K run/walk/roll will be timed and follows a route that is part trail and part paved. Virtual participants receive a mailed swag bag as a thank-you.
Event distances include:
- 100K Iron Horse Road Ride with a Pedals t-shirt and Iron Horse patch after completion
- 32 Miles gravel ride
- 20 Miles road ride, very hilly
- 16 Miles mountain bike ride
- 5K run/walk/roll, part trail and part paved
- 1 Mile walk/roll, no fee listed
- Virtual bike and virtual run/walk/roll options
The program lists multiple timed cycling events and family-friendly walking options. Details such as check-in and registration windows are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
