Grand Rapids Public Schools Turkey Trot
The Grand Rapids Public Schools Turkey Trot reaches its 33rd annual edition in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This community event takes place on Thanksgiving Day at Van Andel Arena. The financial proceeds from the event support Grand Rapids Public Schools athletics, helping to decrease costs for student participation in sports programs.

The 1K Mini Trot is an untimed participation event designed for young runners. It is open to all individuals under 12 years of age. While participants in this distance do not receive a t-shirt, all finishers are provided with a finisher prize.
Participants can choose between the traditional in-person course in downtown Grand Rapids or a virtual option that allows for completion of the distance at a preferred location.
