Event amenities include tee-shirts for the first 100 in-person 5K participants on race day with sizes distributed on a first come, first served basis, onsite brunch, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Awards are given to the top one male and female overall, and to the top three male and female in these age groups: 9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
The race benefits the Greenport Fire Department. The course is mapped across the Peconic Landing campus; strollers, baby joggers, rollerblades, skates, and pets are not permitted on the course. Bib pickup is handled by event staff; registrants who register three weeks in advance may receive personalized race numbers. A self lookup area is available for those who do not know their bib number, and late registrants can receive their bib number by text or via the bib lookup.
