Peconic Landing John May Mile & 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place at Peconic Landing, 1500 Brecknock Road, Greenport, NY. It features both a timed road race and an untimed fitness walk around the Peconic Landing campus.

Amenities include t shirts for the first 100 in-person 5K participants with sizes available on a first come, first served basis. On-site activities after the event include brunch at Brecknock Hall, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and other community activities.
Awards are presented for the top overall male and female and for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. The presentation also includes the Peconic Landing Older American’s Champion Award and in-person 5K race awards.
The race benefits the Greenport Fire Department. Participants pick up bibs from event staff; registrants who register three weeks ahead may receive a personalized race number. A Self Lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number.
The course is set across the Peconic Landing campus. Strollers, baby joggers, rollerblades, skates, and pets are not permitted on the course.
