PECO XC Junior League 2026-27 Race 5: Roundhay Park, Leeds
This is the fifth race in the PECO Junior Cross Country League, a series of five chip timed junior cross country races held in and around Leeds. The event takes place on 21 February 2027 at Roundhay Park with Race HQ alongside The Mansion.
Junior races cover approximately 1 to 2 miles on an undulating cross country course. Entrants who are under 11 on 1 September 2026 (typically school years 2 to 6) run about 1 mile; those aged 11 or over on 1 September 2026 but under 16 (typically school years 7 to 11) run about 2 miles. Each competitor receives a race number with an embedded timing chip that must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £2.50 for juniors.
Online entry for school years 2 to 11 is priced at £3.00. The event has an entry limit of 700 and a race licence has been applied for. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities at Race HQ include toilets. There is no water provision, no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage storage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
