The Peace of Mind 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 26, 2026, at 101 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ. The event is managed by StartLine Racing. Two participation options are offered: an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual race. Virtual participants receive a finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt; virtual registration is limited to U.S. addresses. Packet pick-up is available the Friday before the race at Sole Sports in Tempe and on race day.
Registration fees listed in the event information include a 5K rate of $35 plus processing for early registration and $40 plus processing for later registration. The virtual race fee listed is $30 plus processing.
Race features and purpose
The event is chip timed and posts real-time results and race photos on the organizer's results page and mobile apps. All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a dri-fit tech t-shirt, and age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in each listed age group (from 8 & under through 80 & over). Pre- and post-race refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink.
The event raises funds for a scholarship fund to help people access mental health services and supports a local program called Speak Your Mind, which provides outdoor movement and community support activities. Race rules note that wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; leashed pets are allowed; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted.
