Peace of Mind 5K Run/Walk
The Peace of Mind 5K Run/Walk is a community event held in Tempe, Arizona on April 26, 2026 at 101 West Baseline Road. The event was created by two sisters to raise awareness about mental health and to fund a scholarship program that helps adults access mental health services. The scholarship effort focuses on preventive care and treatment for individuals whose challenges have led to debilitating behaviors.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with a no-shirt option available for a reduced fee. Virtual packets are mailed the week following the event and virtual registration is restricted to US addresses.
The 5K course is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. The course is subject to change if it is deemed unsafe on race day. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. Roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. Leashed pets are permitted. There is no bag check because the start and finish share a common area. The event takes place rain or shine and there are no refunds for weather related cancellations.
