Chocolate Bunny 5K/Kids Run - Phoenix
The Chocolate Bunny 5K/Kids Run is a fundraising run on April 25, 2026 in Phoenix, AZ. The event benefits Kids Need To Read, a charity that provides books and literacy programs to underfunded schools, libraries, and organizations nationwide.
Distances offered:
- 5K chip timed with age group awards in 15 categories.
- Kids 1 Mile for 16 and under, live race only, medal and special treat.
The field is limited to 200 runners. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Kids 1 Mile with prices increasing on April 13. A virtual option is available for the 5K only; race packets for virtual participants will be mailed during race week. No packet pickup is required for in person entries.
All finishers receive a Chocolate Bunny Medal, bib, wristband and raffle entry. The course is described as flat and follows the canal at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Overflow parking is located at the Lutheran church north of the park off 56th Street. The event provides water, snacks and popsicles.
