PDX Triathlon Festival
The PDX Triathlon Festival is the 44th annual event at Blue Lake Regional Park in Fairview, OR on June 20, 2027. The festival features multiple race formats across several distance categories, including triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, paddle triathlon and relay options. A 5K run is offered as a separate event.
The event includes the following distance categories:
- Super Sprint: triathlon and duathlon
- Sprint: triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, paddle triathlon and relays
- Olympic: triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, paddle triathlon and relays
- 5K: separate run event
The festival spans two days with kids races and a Sunset 5K on Saturday and Super Sprint, Sprint and Olympic races on Sunday. A Sports and Fitness Expo takes place during the weekend and triathlon clubs from across the Northwest attend.
Bike courses are described as flat and occur mostly on a section of Marine Drive that is closed to all but local traffic, which reduces exposure to through traffic. Parking is included with the registration cost. The site lists relay entries and paddle options for participants who prefer kayaking or paddle boarding for the water segment.
