Event Details
The Paws to the Pavement 5K is a run/walk event taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event is held at White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky, located on 500 White Hall Shrine Road. It is noted to be about 12 minutes from Hamburg/Lexington.
The event features two main activities: a 5K and a Kids Dash. Participants in the Kids Dash will run around a pond. All proceeds from the event benefit Bluegrass Bully Rescue, a non-profit dog rescue organization serving Central Kentucky.
Course and Participation
The 5K course is paved and described as scenic, set within historic White Hall Park in Madison County. The event allows dogs to participate, but they must be on a fixed leash; extendable leashes are not permitted.
Registration for the 5K costs $25, with the price increasing after April 11, 2026. Registration for the Kids Dash costs $10 and ends on the event day. Timing for the 5K is chip-based.
Awards and Features
Awards are given for top overall male and female finishers and for the top three male and female finishers in multiple five-year age divisions, from 13 and under to 70+. A special award is given for the top canine finisher. All Kids Dash participants will receive an item.
