Event Details

The 5K takes place on a flat, USATF-NJ certified course at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The event includes overall and age group awards, which are calculated based on chip timing.

Registered dogs are welcome to participate in the 5K and receive a goody bag, while supplies last. There are rules for canine participants: dogs must start behind the runners, use a leash six feet or shorter, be current on shots, and not be females in heat. Participants must clean up after their pets.

A Kiddie Dash for young children is also part of the event, and all participants in this dash receive a finisher prize. The day's activities also include a doggy costume contest, vendors, and food.

Participants who register by September 15 are guaranteed a t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt, with an option to decline the shirt during registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
