13th Annual Paws for the Cause 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk
The 13th Annual Paws for the Cause is a fundraising run and walk presented by the Medina County SPCA in Medina, Ohio. The event takes place on October 24, 2026, at Medina City Square. Proceeds will directly benefit abused, neglected, and injured animals assisted by the Medina County SPCA.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
Each registration includes an official event shirt, electronic chip timing, post-race refreshments, and eligibility for race awards. Commemorative awards will be given for the 5K in multiple age categories spanning 19 & Under through 70 plus.
Registration pricing is tiered by date: early registration through August 31, standard through September 30, late through October 17, and on-site race day registration; fees vary by registration period. Packet pickup is available at the race site on race day.
