Pawling Moonlight Trail Run 5K
The Pawling Moonlight Trail Run 5K is a night trail event held at Lakeside Park in Pawling, New York. The 3.1 mile course includes grass sections, dirt trails, and single-track segments with roots and rocks, and has approximately 550 feet of elevation gain. Reflective markers and glowsticks will mark the route.
A light source such as a headlamp, waistlight, or handheld light is required for all entrants. Hikers are welcome to participate, and all participants must complete the 3.1 miles within 90 minutes. Packet pickup is available on race day beginning at 7:15 PM.
Registration opens April 1 and closes June 14. Fees are listed for members and non-members, with a price increase on June 15 and a higher race-day fee; race-day payments accepted in cash, Venmo, or check. All proceeds and donations will support the Pawling Recreation Department.
Finisher recognition includes a handmade medal for all finishers. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers in Men, Women, and Non-binary categories, and to the top three overall in the "My First Trail Race" division for Men, Women, and Non-binary participants; the first trail race award requires that the event be the participant's first trail race of any distance.
