The Wansfell Fell Race, organized by Ambleside AC, is a challenging running event set in the scenic Lake District. The race features a 3.14 km (2.1 miles) out-and-back route with a significant climb of 405 meters (1329 feet). Starting from Stock Ghyll Lane, participants face a steep ascent followed by a rugged descent, requiring careful navigation and appropriate fell running gear.
