Events
The Patriots Triathlon offers Olympic and Sprint distance events. The festival takes place over two days in Williamsburg, Virginia. The events include:
- Patriots Olympic Triathlon (Individual) - 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run.
- Patriots Olympic Aquabike (Individual) - 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike.
- Patriots Olympic Triathlon Relay - for teams of 2 or 3 people.
- Patriots Sprint Triathlon (Individual) - 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Patriots Sprint Aquabike (Individual) - 750 m swim, 20 km bike.
- Patriots Sprint Triathlon Relay - for teams of 2 or 3 people.
All events are open to participants aged 12 and over.
Course Details
The swim takes place at Jamestown Beach. The bike course is described as flat and parallels a bike trail along Route 5. The run course winds through farmland and forest, using a combination of bike paths and jogging trails.
Additional Information
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Registration includes a finisher medal, an event tech shirt, custom race socks, a packet pickup reusable bag, timed results, a post-race meal, a finisher certificate, and free finish line photos.
