Patriots For Freedom 5K and 1 Mile Walk
The Patriots For Freedom event is presented by the Olentangy Liberty Patriots Baseball Program and takes place at Liberty Park, 2845 Home Road, Powell, Ohio on November 7, 2026. The event benefits the Olentangy Liberty Baseball team and partners with Honor Flight Columbus to support senior military veterans.

The course is a scenic loop through Liberty Park with the start and finish at the baseball diamonds. The venue is described as family friendly and allows dogs and strollers.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K; those finishers receive a commemorative award. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative event day t-shirt while supplies last. Additional shirts may be available for purchase during online registration or at packet pick-up, but sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed after October 21.
Packet pick-up is offered Wednesday, November 4, 5:30–7:30 PM at US Home Pro/Cambria Showroom Suite 136, Powell Center, 120 E Olentangy St, Powell, Ohio, and on race morning, November 7, 7:45–8:45 AM at Liberty Park (race site).
Refunds and transfers are not offered. Fundraising for Honor Flight Columbus is part of the event; 100% of funds collected for that effort go to Honor Flight Columbus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
