Patriots For Freedom 5k and 1 Mile Walk
The Patriots For Freedom event, presented by the Olentangy Liberty Patriots Baseball Program, takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Liberty Park, 2845 Home Road, Powell, Ohio. The event includes both a race and a community walk and supports local veteran-related fundraising.

The event benefits the Olentangy Liberty Baseball team and has partnered with Honor Flight Columbus to support senior veterans. Donations collected for Honor Flight Columbus remain local and go directly to that organization.
The course is a scenic loop through Liberty Park with the Start and Finish located at the baseball diamonds. The park setting is described as a community venue that accommodates families, dogs, and strollers.
Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative event-day t-shirt while supplies last. Additional shirts may be available for online purchase during registration and in limited numbers at packet pick-up; sizes may not be guaranteed for registrations after October 21.
Packet pick-up is offered at a Powell Center location on Wednesday, November 4, and on race morning at Liberty Park. Refunds and transfers are not offered. Published registration fees for the 5K are shown in a range of $34.42 to $39.80 and for the 1 Mile walk $18.28 to $23.66, inclusive of service fees.
