Patriots For Freedom 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Proceeds support the Olentangy Liberty Baseball team and its partnership with Honor Flight Columbus. The event lists a fundraising goal of $1,500 and indicates that 100% of funds collected for Honor Flight Columbus stay local and go directly to that organization. Honor Flight Columbus transports 80 to 90 veterans per flight, each flight costs about $62,000, and the program has flown over 6,000 veterans from Central Ohio since 2010. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative event t shirt while supplies last; additional shirts may be available for purchase during registration or at packet pick up, but sizes and availability are not guaranteed for registrations after October 21. Packet pick up is offered the week of the event at a Powell location and on race morning at Liberty Park. Refunds and transfers are not offered.
