Patriot Day Run
The Patriot Day Run is a commemorative running event held at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville, Missouri on September 12, 2026. The event honors those who perished on 9/11 as well as first responders and military personnel. It is organized by the Knights of Columbus with support from local sponsors.
The event program includes multiple participation options:
- 1 mile fun run
- 5K timed run
- 10K timed event
- Virtual runner option for supporters who cannot attend in person
All timed participants and virtual runners receive a custom challenge coin and a swag bag with local offers. Participants aged 21 and over receive a custom plastic stadium cup on race day. The event also provides a technical shirt; sizing and availability of shirts are not guaranteed for registrations completed after August 21, 2026.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in the 5K and 10K, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Packet pickup details will be posted on the race website at a later date. The event includes a post-race area with vendor booths and complimentary food and beverages for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
