Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk
The Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk is a community 5-kilometer event held in Patchogue, New York, with course certification by USATF. The event includes in-person and virtual participation options; virtual participants receive race materials by mail within a shipping window that spans roughly one week before to one week after the event.
Event amenities include post-race awards, prizes, refreshments and sponsor giveaways. T-shirts are distributed on a first come first serve basis. Results and media are provided online, with live result delivery options, free video and same-day finish line photos; additional event photos are shared on social media.
Awards recognize overall and age-group performances. The top male and female overall finishers receive a one year full adult YMCA membership and a Y gift basket. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in standard age categories, including youth, multiple adult ranges and senior divisions.
Proceeds benefit the YMCA Community Food Distribution Program, which aims to provide fresh, nutritious food to local families in need. Bib pickup is offered in advance at the Patchogue Family YMCA and on race day at Shorefront Park in Patchogue. Registration is not yet open and a notification option is available for updates.
