Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk
The Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk is a community event held at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, New York. The event combines an in-person 5K run and walk with a virtual option for participants who need an alternative to on-site attendance. The course is USATF certified.
Proceeds benefit the YMCA Community Food Distribution Program, which provides fresh, nutritious food to local families in need. Post-race amenities include awards, prizes, refreshments, and sponsor giveaways. Event shirts are available on a first come first serve basis.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers within multiple age groups. The overall winners receive a one year Full Adult Y membership and a Y gift basket. Age group medals cover divisions from 15 and under through 80 and over.
Bib pickup is available before the event at the Patchogue Family YMCA location on West Main Street and on the day of the event at Shorefront Park. Virtual entries are shipped to participants, with a shipping window that ranges from one week before the event to one week after the event.
