The Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 19, 2026 at Shorefront Park, 49 Smith Street, Patchogue, NY 11772. The event uses a USATF certified course. Participants may register for an in-person or virtual 5K option. Virtual participants are provided an upload window in April to submit times and photos.
Registration, logistics and amenities
The base entry price is listed as $30.00 for both the in-person and virtual 5K; examples on the page show totals that include processing fees. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants must register at least two weeks before the race to receive a t-shirt; t-shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bib pickup is available pre-race on Friday, April 17 (12:00 PM-6:00 PM) at the Patchogue Family YMCA, 255 W. Main Street, and on race day at Shorefront Park. Virtual bibs are mailed within a window around the event.
Awards and beneficiary
Prizes include a one-year Full Adult Y membership and gift basket for the top male and female overall. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups ranging from 15 & under through 80+. Proceeds benefit the YMCA Community Food Distribution Program to provide fresh food to local families in need. Amenities listed include post-race awards, refreshments and sponsor giveaways.
